The Power Leader is 7.5 feet long and is ideal for throwing streamers on a floating line. The stiff mono butt section allows for ideal turnover of bigger flies. We have also included a micro-swivel at the terminal end of the leader.

The purpose of the micro-swivel is two fold. First, you simply need to attach your desired tippet to the swivel, thereby making this leader nearly infinite with regard to its durability. If you break off your tippet, it should be below the swivel so simply tie on a new piece and your leader will still be in tact. You won't get that from a brand name pre-packaged leader. The second reason is the swivel keeps your line from twisting when throwing wind resident flies. This is critical for presentation, and also improves the durability of the leader.

These leaders are beyond ideal for our different varieties of Spoon Flies. Pick your poison as the leaders are available in two variations, one suited for a 5 or 6 weight line and the other for 7 or 8 weight line.
